Pay your local taxes in Benalmádena: IBI and rubbish fee

Benalmádena’s council publishes a yearly fiscal calendar: for 2026 the IBI and the household rubbish fee are due from 1 May to 20 October, in three installments. Direct debit is requested through the council’s electronic office.

  1. Check the payment window
    Look up the IBI and the household rubbish fee (tasa de basura doméstica) on the council’s fiscal calendar (calendario fiscal) for the year.
  2. Request direct debit (domiciliación)
    The council’s electronic office says any individual can ask, up to two months before the voluntary period starts. A later request may not take effect for the current year and takes effect the following year at the latest. Apply online in the electronic office with a recognized digital certificate and electronic signature, or in person at the registry assistance offices. Attach the SEPA direct-debit form, a certificate of ownership of the bank account or an equivalent document, and the account holder’s identity document (DNI, NIF or NIE).
