Register on the Jaén padrón (alta en el padrón)
Register your address with the Ayuntamiento de Jaén (Negociado de Estadística) by presenting the alta request form and the padrón registration sheet with ID and proof of address; cita previa is compulsory.
- Why it matters
- The padrón is the municipal register that other procedures in the city build on, for example the resident parking pass and the free under-15 bus card both ask for padrón registration.
- When
- You start living at an address in Jaén (from abroad or from another Spanish municipality) or you are not registered anywhere.
