Pay the vehicle tax (IVTM) in Jaén

Jaén’s council has opened voluntary IVTM payment from 1 February to 31 March in the years its notices cover, offers direct debit with a 2.5 percent bonus under its general ordinance, and publishes a fiscal calendar on its sede.

Why it matters

Newcomers who own or buy a vehicle get a yearly local bill they may not expect; knowing the council’s window avoids late charges.

When

You own a vehicle registered in Jaén and the yearly vehicle tax is due.
