Marbella maintains an extensive coastline with numerous beaches, several holding quality/sustainability certifications (the municipality reported 38 such certifications across its beaches in 2026), managed by the Delegación de Medio Ambiente, Playas y Puertos, which also handles beach concessions (restaurants, kiosks, sunbed/umbrella rentals, nautical zones) and 'moragas' (beach bonfire) reservations.
