Rubbish, bulky items and puntos limpios

Mijas has a free bulky furniture and appliance pickup by phone, fixed puntos limpios (La Cala, Las Lagunas, Mijas Pueblo) and a mobile punto limpio.

Why it matters

Avoid fines for leaving items on the street.

Steps

1. Book the pickup
   Phone the free line (council releases give 648 960 541, Monday-Friday 8:00-15:00) and leave items at the door before 7:00 or at a container point.
2. Or go to a punto limpio
   La Cala: Camino de la Majadilla del Muerto, 952 49 21 78; Las Lagunas and Mijas Pueblo fixed points are listed as Monday-Saturday 8:00-14:40.
