Set up your water supply in Nerja (Aguas de Narixa)

Water in Nerja is run by Aguas de Narixa, the town’s mixed public-private water company named in the council’s water ordinance. The contract is between the company and whoever holds the right to use the property. A deposit (fianza) is due at the rate in force.

Why it matters
When you move into a home in Nerja, the water contract has to be in someone’s name; the supplier usually asks for ID and proof that you may use the property.
When
You move into a home in Nerja and need water service in your name, or you take over from the previous account holder.
