Pay Rota’s rubbish fee and other council bills
Rota’s municipal taxes, including the rubbish fee, are collected since 1 January 2025 by the Diputación de Cádiz’s provincial collection service, which takes payments online, by card or Bizum, at banks and in its Rota office.
- Why it matters
- Rubbish fees and council bills arrive on their own schedule; knowing where they are billed avoids missed payments.
- When
- You live in Rota and want to pay the rubbish fee or another municipal bill.
- Last checked
- 26 Oct 2026
Cost: See the council’s ordinance; amounts not quoted here.
Steps
- Know who collects
The Diputación’s news item says Rota delegated its tax management and collection to the provincial service. - Pay online
The Pago de tributos page takes a payment with a digital certificate or without one: use the barcode, or the municipality, NIF, reference and year. Only unpaid items are shown, not domiciled ones or those in payment plans. - Pay in person or by phone app
Payment also works at the banks the service names, by Bizum or card, or with the Diputación’s DipuPay app. - Ask the Rota office
The service’s Rota office lists phone 856 940 260 and email rota.recaudacion@dipucadiz.es.
