What you need

Steps

  1. In an emergency, call
Call 112, 091 (Policía Nacional) or 062 (Guardia Civil) when there is immediate danger. The Guardia Civil page gives 062 and 112 for emergencies.
  2. Go to a Guardia Civil post or a police station
The Policía Nacional’s list of denuncia offices for the province does not include San Roque. You can report in person at any Guardia Civil post with a citizen-service desk, identifying yourself with DNI, passport or another valid document (Guardia Civil denuncias page); the local post and its hours are not confirmed here.
  3. Or start it online (Policía Nacional)
The Oficina Virtual de Denuncias gives you a reference number; you then sign the denuncia at the station you chose within 72 hours, or it has no legal effect. It is not for cases with physical violence or intimidation, or where the person responsible is known or could be recognized; go in person for those.
  4. Or online (Guardia Civil)
The Guardia Civil’s online denuncia needs an electronic ID such as a digital certificate or Cl@ve and a digital signature. It accepts damage, theft, lost documents, vehicle theft or theft from a vehicle, and fraudulent use of cards or payment methods.
  5. Ask for your copy
See the Spain-wide card (ES-0158) for your right to a copy and language help.
