Steps

1. Call for bulky items
   Call 952 532 707, Monday to Friday 9:00 to 13:00, to arrange pickup of furniture. The council’s news item says this is "de forma totalmente gratuita".
2. Use the mobile recycling point
   The 2024 schedule: Mondays in Torrox; Tuesdays in Los Llanos and Generación del 27; Wednesdays in Castillo Bajo; Thursdays in El Morche; Fridays in El Peñoncillo and Torrox Park. It takes fluorescent tubes, bulbs, batteries, paint and solvent tins, car batteries, scrap metal, motor oil and cooking oil.
3. Do not leave items outside containers
   Leaving furniture, appliances, rubble or bags outside containers, or depositing outside the set hours, is classed as an offense; fines can be serious, with "tolerancia cero" for repeat offenders.
