Check housing aid you may qualify for in Avilés and Asturias
Avilés runs its own 'garantía habitacional' aid with a rent line (2026 call; applications to 31 October 2026), the Oficina de Vivienda de Avilés (OVA) and the 'Avilés Alquila' program; the Principality adds Alquilámoste.

- Rent is usually a newcomer’s biggest cost. Avilés asks for only three months on the padrón for its rent line, which is short compared with many councils, but the rent-line deadline is 31 October 2026.
