Pay the vehicle tax (IVTM) in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria
The council collects the vehicle tax (IVTM) in a first voluntary period each year; for 2026 it ran 5 March to 26 June, and you can pay online, by phone-guided slip, at ATMs or by direct debit.

- If you own or register a car or motorbike here, the council bills you every year and paying after the voluntary period brings surcharges.

- You own a vehicle registered in the city and the council’s tax calendar opens the IVTM period.
