Register in the Tías padrón (empadronamiento)
The padrón is the municipal register of residents; Tías says registering is free and compulsory for anyone living in the municipality, which includes Puerto del Carmen.

- Registration is the proof of residence and, per the council, is needed for school enrollment, the health card, social aid and residence or work permit matters.
