Pay your local taxes in Tías: IBI and rubbish fee

Tías collects its own taxes. In 2026 the IBI and the rubbish fee are due from 20 August to 20 October. Direct debit, requested by 5 August, gets a 5% discount, and an interest-free payment plan spreads the bills over the year.

Why it matters

Direct debit has to be requested by early August, and the payment plan by the end of the year before.

What you need

• Direct debit: "Las solicitudes de domiciliación se pueden presentar hasta el 5 de agosto."
• Payment plan: apply by "31 de diciembre".

Steps

1. Check the period
   The 2026 tax calendar gives the IBI and the "TASA DE RECOGIDA DE RESIDUOS SÓLIDOS URBANOS" from "del 20 de agosto al 20 de octubre".
2. Set up direct debit
   Requests can be made until 5 August. Debited receipts are charged on "5 de octubre" (IBI) and "4 de septiembre" (rubbish fee).
3. Or join the payment plan
   The "plan de pago personalizado sin intereses ni garantías" charges ten installments on the 20th of each month from January to October, or four on 20 February, 20 May, 20 August and 20 October. Apply by 31 December.
4. Or pay in person or online
   At the Recaudación office or through the council’s electronic office (sede.ayuntamientodetias.es), by card.
