Know your consumer rights when buying and selling second-hand in Ciudad Real
Spanish consumer law (RDL 1/2007) protects buyers of goods from a business or professional seller; private sales between individuals fall outside it.

For second-hand goods, seller and consumer may agree a shorter liability period than the usual three years, but not shorter than one year from delivery (art. 120.1).
