Get a padrón volante or certificate
Request a volante (informative) or certificado (formal) of padrón registration in person or by post; the council says in-person certificates are delivered two days later and volantes on the spot.
- Why it matters
- Many procedures need only a volante, but consulates, courts, arraigo residence applications and nationality files need a certificado.
- When
- A procedure asks for proof of residence in Ávila.
- How long it takes
- Volante on the spot; certificate two days; post about ten days (per council).
