Rubbish, bulky items and puntos limpios

The Servicio Municipal de Limpieza collects bulky items (enseres) from the building doorway Mon-Fri and runs five fixed puntos limpios and two mobile units.

Furniture and appliances cannot go in street containers.

Steps

1. Bulky items
   Request collection through the Servicio de Limpieza (983 352 581, sl@ava.es) or the sede procedure 'Solicitud de recogida de enseres'; the service charter says collection is at the portal, Mon-Fri, within 11 hours of the request being received. A city tweet states the collection service is free (2020 post).
2. Punto limpio
   Take special waste to a fixed punto limpio (list below). Cabildo: Mon-Sat 9:00-19:00, Sun/holidays 10:00-14:00 (August shorter).
