Steps

  1. Find the local holidays
The labor office’s resolution of 17 September 2025 (BOP of 19 September 2025) sets Zamora’s 2026 local holidays at 25 May (La Hiniesta) and 29 June (San Pedro), as republished on a third-party site.
  2. Add the regional holidays
Castilla y León’s 2026 work holidays under Decreto 9/2025 are: 1 and 6 January; 2 and 3 April; 23 April; 1 May; 15 August; 12 October; 2 November (moved from 1 November); 7 December (moved from 6 December); 8 December; 25 December. The 2027 calendar was not read for this card.
  3. Check when shops may open
The Junta’s commerce page, citing Orden IEM/1132/2025 of 8 October, lists these days when shops may open in 2026: 4 and 11 January, 2 April, 28 June, 5 July, 15 August, and 8, 13, 20 and 27 December.
  4. Plan around closures
Local holidays are paid, non-recoverable days off for workers, so offices and many shops may be closed; check the office’s own page before booking.
