Buy and sell second-hand in Barcelona: consumer rules and the OMIC
A business selling second-hand goods owes at least a one-year legal guarantee; a private seller does not. Catalonia’s consumer agency says a private seller of a used car answers only for hidden defects for 6 months. Barcelona’s OMIC takes complaints from people living in the city.
