Pay the vehicle tax (IVTM) in Barcelona
Barcelona’s tax office lists the 2026 vehicle tax (IVTM) as 15 April to 15 June for non-domiciled bills and 3 July for direct debit; you can pay online by card or Bizum, by phone-guided slip, or at partner banks.
- Why it matters
- The person who owns the vehicle on 1 January pays the full year, so new owners and anyone who moved their vehicle’s address should check who is billed.
