School meal aid (ajuts de menjador) in Barcelona

The Consorci d’Educació de Barcelona gives income-tested meal aid for pupils from I3 to 4th ESO in public and state-subsidized schools, applied for online through the school in several windows a year.

Why it matters

Families with lower income can have part of the school lunch price covered, and can apply during the year.
