Dispose of bulky items and use the deixalleria
Old furniture and appliances are collected free by phone appointment; other waste goes to the fixed deixalleria at Mas Xirgu or mobile ones, using an ID card.

- Leaving items next to containers is penalized; using the deixalleria six times earns a EUR 25 discount on the waste fee.

What you need
- Deixalleria card (request at an OSGRE, at Mas Xirgu or at a mobile deixalleria), linked to the address on your waste-fee bill.
Steps
- Book bulky collection
Call 972 244 400 to agree a day; leave items on the street from 20:00 (door-to-door neighborhoods have set weekdays), collected next morning, free of charge. - Get a deixalleria card
Request it at an OSGRE, the Mas Xirgu deixalleria or a mobile one. - Deliver waste
Fixed deixalleries: Mas Xirgu (Girona) and the county one in Sarrià de Ter; mobile ones follow a neighborhood calendar.
