Buy and sell second-hand in L’Hospitalet: consumer rules and the OMIC
A business selling second-hand goods owes at least a one-year legal guarantee (Catalan consumer agency). L’Hospitalet’s OMIC acts when the consumer or the business is based in the city; first complain to the company, which has 30 days.

For second-hand goods bought from a professional seller, the parties may agree a shorter guarantee, but never under one year; goods bought from private individuals or at public auctions are not covered.
