FGC rail (S1/S2) and urban bus network in Sant Cugat del Vallès
Sant Cugat is served by FGC’s Barcelona–Vallès line (including the S1 and S2 services) with stations such as FGC Sant Cugat and FGC Volpelleres, plus a local urban bus network (lines L1–L11, V1–V4, TAD on-demand services) that connects neighborhoods to the FGC stations; fares are integrated with ATM Catalunya’s T-Mobilitat system.
- Why it matters
- FGC is the primary commuter rail link from Sant Cugat into Barcelona and is heavily used by the town’s many remote workers and commuters; understanding the fare system (own urban bus tickets vs. ATM-integrated T-Mobilitat passes) is a practical day-one need.
