Sitges beaches and Blue Flag (Bandera Blava) status

Sitges has more Blue Flag (Bandera Blava/Blava) beaches than any other Catalan municipality: nine Blue Flag beaches for 2025 (Les Botigues, Garraf, Aiguadolç, Balmins, Sant Sebastià, La Ribera, L’Estanyol, La Barra, Terramar) out of 18 beaches in total. Lifeguard service with amphibious-chair assisted bathing runs seasonally (May-October) and dogs are allowed on Vallcarca beach in high season.
