Good to know · Housing
Housing aid you may qualify for in Tarragona and Catalonia
Public rent aids open to people living in Tarragona come mainly from the regional government (Catalonia); each has its own age, income, padrón and lease conditions and calls open only for set windows, none is an automatic entitlement.
- Why it matters
- Rent is usually a newcomer’s biggest cost. Most aids need a period of padrón registration and a lease in your name, so it helps to know early which ones could apply and when calls open.
- When
- You are renting or about to rent in Tarragona and want to know whether a public rent aid could apply to you or your household.
