Handle rubbish, bulky furniture and recycling centers in Terrassa

Furniture and bulky items are collected free by appointment through the council’s cleaning line, or you can take them to the municipal recycling centers (deixalleries); putting items out without an order number can be fined.

Why it matters
Leaving furniture on the street on the wrong day is fined, and the rules differ from the rest of Catalonia.

What you need

Steps

  1. Request a pickup
    Call 900 720 135 (free), Mon-Thu 8:30-17:30 and Fri 8:00-15:00, or use the online form on the Eco-Equip page. You receive an email with an authorization number, pickup day, time window and place.
  2. Put items out only then
    Place the furniture beside the nearest bins during the assigned slot. The Segle XX neighborhood has a pilot: leave items on Wednesdays 18:00-21:00 without calling.
  3. Or go to a recycling center
    Can Barba (N-150 km 14.8, 93 731 54 24) and Can Casanovas (Carretera de Rubí 341, 93 786 08 99) accept furniture and bulky items. The mobile recycling unit does not take furniture, mattresses or fridges.
