Set up your water supply in Terrassa (Taigua)
Water in Terrassa is run by Taigua, the municipal water service; a new supply or a change of holder is requested through an online form on its site, by phone or in person with an appointment.
- Why it matters
- You need a water contract in your name for a home you rent or buy; Taigua asks for the habitability certificate for a new supply and the household’s padrón record for the tariff blocks.
- When
- You move into a home with no active water contract, or take over one in the previous occupant’s name.
- How long it takes
- Online change of holder: up to 7 working days. Meter installed within 2 working days after a new contract is signed when the connection is ready (Taigua).
