Ecoparc (punto limpio / recycling center) de Xàbia

Xàbia’s free municipal Ecoparc accepts household hazardous and bulky waste not suited to ordinary street containers (electronics, paint, batteries, furniture, rubble from small home repairs, etc.), located at Camí de les Sorts between the municipal dog pound and the water-treatment plant.

Why it matters

Newcomers renovating or furnishing a home, or simply doing normal household waste disposal beyond the street bins, need to know this free facility exists and what it accepts.

When

Disposing of batteries, electronics, paint, furniture, small-repair rubble, or other items not accepted in street containers.

Walk-in during opening hours, no appointment needed

What you need

• Must be a resident, business or commerce within the Xàbia municipal boundary; industrial waste is not accepted

Steps

1. Sort your waste by category before arriving (the Ecoparc requires selective, unmixed deposits)
   
2. Go to Camí de les Sorts during opening hours
   
3. Follow on-site staff instructions for depositing each waste category
   

Tips

• Low season (Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr, Nov, Dec): 9:00–13:30 and 15:30–17:30, Monday to Saturday
• High season (May–Oct): 9:00–13:30 and 15:30–19:30, Monday to Saturday
• A separate free bulky-item pickup service for furniture/appliances exists by calling 900 102 149
• Medicines, tires, dead animals and industrial/explosive/radioactive waste are NOT accepted here
