Recycling, punto limpio and bulky-item collection

Two free punto limpio recycling centers, a free phone line for bulky-item collection, and a weekly mobile ecopark at the Friday market.

What you need

• Be registered on the town’s padrón
• Show your DNI at the punto limpio
• Only waste from private households is accepted

Steps

1. Choose the site
   Punto Limpio calle Reino Unido (town center): Monday to Saturday 10:00-13:00. Punto Limpio calle Tauró (L’Albir): Monday to Friday 10:00-13:00, plus Tuesday and Thursday 16:00-19:00 (council notice of 5 March 2026).
2. Bring your ID
   Be registered in the town and show your DNI when you deposit waste.
3. For bulky items at home, call the free line
   The collection contractor SAV’s free number 900 102 952 is given for questions and for arranging bulky-item (enseres) collection.
4. Or use the mobile ecopark
   A mobile ecopark of the Consorci Mare stands next to the Friday market, 9:00-13:00, per council notices.

Tips

• Accepted waste listed by the council: rubble, bulky items, pruning waste, electronics, paper and cardboard, glass, packaging, batteries, oils, aerosols, X-rays, fluorescent tubes, scrap metal.
• The council raised fines for uncontrolled dumping; its notice mentions fines of up to EUR 3,000 for dumping rubble in public spaces.
