Recycle and dispose of waste, bulky items and the Ecoparque (Torrevieja)

Torrevieja has an Ecoparque (punto limpio) open Mon-Fri 8:00-13:00 and 16:30-18:30 and Saturdays 9:00-14:00, and the 2024 street-cleaning ordinance provides a free door-to-door pickup of bulky items on request.

Why it matters

Know where to take furniture, appliances and hazardous waste instead of leaving them by containers.

When

You have bulky items, hazardous waste or recycling to dispose of.

What you need

• Free for citizens at the Ecoparque.
• Door-to-door bulky pickup: the ordinance excludes requests for 3 or more items from one place.

Steps

1. Take items to the Ecoparque
Use for items that do not belong in regular containers (bulky or hazardous); free of charge.
2. Request bulky pickup
Notify by the council’s phone or online channels; the ordinance says pickup within 24 hours. Council news of 2022-2023 quoted 966 702 390 for this.
