Steps
- Find the local holidays
The official page lists 22 January (San Vicente Mártir) and 13 April (San Vicente Ferrer) in 2026; 22 January and 5 April in 2027. - Add the regional holidays
The València council approved the 2027 dates on its page dated 23 July 2026. - Check when shops may open
The Generalitat Valenciana’s page lists 11 dates for 2026 when shops may open: 4 and 11 January, 3 and 5 April, 5 July, 15 August, 12 October, 29 November and 13, 20 and 27 December, with free hours on those dates; councils may change the calendar if at least 11 remain. - Plan around closures
Local holidays are paid, non-recoverable days off for workers and count as non-working days for administrative deadlines, so offices may be closed and deadlines can move; check the office’s own page.
