Get your Extremadura health card (tarjeta sanitaria)
The tarjeta sanitaria is the individual card that gives access to the Extremadura public health service (SES) and assigns you a GP and health center.
- Why it matters
- You need it to book GP appointments and access public primary care. Extremadura says the card no longer expires.
- When
- After you are registered at an address in Extremadura and recognized by Social Security (INSS) as insured or a beneficiary.
