The municipal library network issues a free card (carné) through the libraries or online.

What you need

• No photo needed. Choose card type (individual, under 14, entity, visitor) and fill the online form or apply at any municipal library. You must then identify yourself in person at the chosen library before the card can be used. ID type is not stated on the page.

Steps

1. Apply
   Fill the form on the libraries site, or go to any municipal library. With a Tarxeta Millennium you can be registered immediately at the desk.
2. Identify yourself in person
   Whatever route you choose, you must attend in person at the library you selected to start using the card.
