Urgent care vs emergency in Galicia (061 and 112)

For urgent health problems outside hospitals Galicia has its own 061 service (ambulances, telephone triage, advice) alongside the Spain-wide 112; non-urgent questions can go to 981 952 950.

2. Urgent but not an emergency
   Primary-care PAC points offer continued care out of hours; the 061 center can coordinate transport (e.g. stroke code).
