Galician-language support for newcomer students (plan de acollida)

Galician public schools run individualized 'planes de acollida' for immigrant or late-arriving students that assess the child’s competence in Galician and Spanish and set up temporary language-acquisition groups under Orde do 20 de febreiro de 2004, rather than a single standardized region-wide 'aula de acollida' program.
