Bulky items and the recycling center (punto limpo)
The Concello lists a punto limpo (recycling center) with per-type limits and a phone pickup of bulky items from home.

What you need
- Residents' waste only; medicines and household organic waste are not accepted at the punto limpo (per the Concello page).
- Per-type limits apply, for example furniture 2 units of each type, tires 4, pruning waste 960 liters, paper 25 kg, oils 10 liters.

- Call for pickup
The punto limpo page lists 981 56 54 69 for bulky items collected from home, Monday to Friday 10:00-13:00. The page states no cost (an older municipal page from 2018 called it free); confirm when you call. - Or take it to the punto limpo
Polígono do Tambre, Vía Edison 46. The page near the top gives Monday to Friday 10:50-14:00 and 16:00-19:10, Saturday 10:50-18:10. The bottom of the same page says the evening closing is 19:50, so the closing time is still to confirm. Check the per-type limits first.
