Get your IB-Salut health card (tarjeta sanitaria)
The IB-Salut tarjeta sanitaria (targeta sanitària) identifies you as entitled to public healthcare in the Balearic Islands and is requested with a form at a health center or IB-Salut central services.
- Why it matters
- Without the card (and its CIP number) you cannot register with a GP or book appointments in the public system.
- When
- After you are registered on the padron and have the right to public healthcare (e.g. affiliated to Social Security or otherwise insured).
