Official notifications: DEHú, Correos and the Tablón Edictal Único
Spanish authorities notify decisions electronically or on paper. Electronic notifications are reached through DEHú or Carpeta Ciudadana; paper notices go through Correos; a notification that cannot be delivered is published in the BOE’s Tablón Edictal Único.
- Why it matters
- A notification that you do not open can still count: an electronic notification you must receive, or chose to receive, is treated as rejected after ten calendar days. Deadlines can start from that date.
- When
- You receive an email, SMS or paper notice saying a notification is waiting, or you expect an official decision.
- How long it takes
- Electronic: 10 calendar days from being made available (Ley 39/2015 art. 43)
