Get birth, marriage and partner certificates for family who come with you
Spouses, registered partners and children applying with you need a marriage or partnership certificate or a birth certificate, apostilled or legalized, with a sworn translation into Spanish.
- Why it matters
- If your family joins you on a visa, the consulate wants proof of the relationship, and certificates take weeks to reissue with an apostille, so request them early.
