Public transport in Pozuelo de Alarcón (Cercanías C-10 and CRTM network)

Pozuelo de Alarcón is served by Cercanías line C-10 and by CRTM (Consorcio Regional de Transportes de Madrid) buses, within the Madrid regional fare system. Residents use a Tarjeta de Transporte Público (TTP) loaded with an Abono Transportes (e.g. 30-day pass) to access bus, metro, and Cercanías, or pay per-trip with contactless card/phone (Cronos) on Cercanías.

Why it matters
Foreigners will need to obtain a Tarjeta de Transporte Público to use discounted monthly passes, or can pay per-trip by contactless card on Cercanías; understanding the zone system affects the cost of commuting into Madrid.
When
Arriving in Pozuelo and needing to set up a commute into Madrid or elsewhere in the region.
How long it takes
Not applicable (ongoing service); TTP card issuance timelines not stated on pages reviewed.
