Waste collection, bulky-item pickup and punto limpio in Torrejón de Ardoz

Torrejón’s Concejalía de Limpieza Urbana handles general urban cleaning and waste questions; bulky furniture is collected by request; a punto limpio on Calle Verano 16 accepts household special/hazardous waste; the town also operates a network described as 11 neighborhood 'puntos limpios de barrio' for ordinary recyclables.

Steps

  1. Request bulky item pickup
    Email enserestorrejon@utersutorrejon.es or call 649 27 93 83 (Mon-Fri 9:00-19:00). Only wood/chipboard furniture is accepted; you’ll be given a day/time to leave it on the nearest collection-route street (each zone is served weekly).
  2. Use the punto limpio for hazardous/special waste
    Bring household-quantity special/hazardous waste to Calle Verano 16 (commercial/industrial waste is not accepted).
  3. Use neighborhood puntos limpios de barrio
    Deposit ordinary recyclables (paper, cardboard, plastic, glass) at the municipality’s network of smaller neighborhood collection points.
