Pay the vehicle tax (IVTM) in Cartagena

Cartagena’s vehicle tax (IVTM) is collected once a year; the 2026 voluntary period was 2 February to 31 March, payable at collaborating banks, post offices or online by card or Bizum.

Why it matters

A vehicle registered in Cartagena brings a yearly council bill with an early-spring deadline. After the period the debt goes to enforcement with surcharges.
