Ask Murcia’s social services for a social integration report (informe de integración social)
Murcia’s Área de Servicios Sociales issues the informe de integración social that foreign residents need when they apply for temporary residence based on social or socio-training roots (arraigo social or socioformativo). The procedure is free and always open, and the council has one month to issue the report.
- Why it matters
- If you plan to apply for residence through arraigo, this council report is one of the documents you may need, and it should be requested well before you apply to the Oficina de Extranjería.
- When
- You live in Murcia, are registered on the padrón, and are preparing an arraigo application.

The request has to be made well ahead of your residence application (the page says it must be filed 'con antelación suficiente').
