Pamplona public holidays and shop opening days (2026 and 2027)

Pamplona’s local holiday for 2026 is set by a Navarre labor resolution and is not shown on the council page read; the regional holidays and the shop opening days are official and listed here.

Why it matters: Local holidays close offices, schools and many shops, and they move administrative deadlines.
When: You are planning appointments, errands or travel around holidays.

Steps

Find the local holiday
The Navarre labor director’s Resolución 682/2025 (BON 241, 2 December 2025) sets each municipality’s local holiday for 2026, and Resolución 765/2025 modified it; the council page read says only that each municipality has one local holiday.
Add the regional holidays
The council page, citing Resolución 390/2025 (BON 129, 30 June 2025), lists 1 and 6 January, 19 March, 2, 3 and 6 April, 1 May, 15 August, 12 October, 2 November, 3 December, 8 December and 25 December for 2026.
Check when shops may open
The council page, citing BON 252 of 19 December 2025, lists 4 January, 19 March, 2 April, 1 May, 15 August, 12 October, 2 November, 3 December and 20 December as Sundays and holidays when shops may open, plus the local holiday.
Plan around closures
Local holidays are paid, non-recoverable days off for workers and also affect administrative deadlines, so offices may be closed; check the office’s own page.
