Regional public transport and transport cards (Barik, Mugi, BAT)
Each province has its own rechargeable card (BAT in Álava, Barik in Bizkaia, Mugi in Gipuzkoa) and by 2025 they were made interoperable on major operators.

- One card covers metro, tram, urban and intercity bus, and Cercanías within and across provinces.
