Use Renfe Cercanías and long-distance trains from Gijón
Renfe runs Cercanías Asturias commuter trains (free for frequent travelers in 2026 with a €10 refundable deposit) and long-distance/high-speed services (Alvia, AVE, Avlo) to Madrid and other cities from Gijón’s provisional Sanz Crespo station.
