Healthcare access in Cantabria for foreign residents without legal residence authorization (Orden SAN/2/2023)
Cantabria regulates access to public healthcare for foreign nationals who lack legal residence authorization through Orden SAN/2/2023, of 20 March, which lets them obtain a 'documento certificativo' entitling them to care, generally by proving at least three months' residence in Spain (normally via the padrón); for a temporary stay of less than 90 days a favorable social report (informe social) is needed.
