Low-emission zone (ZBE) in Tarragona: who may drive in
Tarragona’s zona de baixes emissions (ZBET) ordinance was approved in plenary on 26 June 2025 and published in the BOPT and DOGC on 18 August 2025. The council’s authorizations page says restrictions apply on weekdays 7:00 to 19:00 to vehicles without an environmental label, with residents covered by automatic authorization until set dates.

- If you drive a car in Tarragona, its DGT environmental label can decide whether you may enter the zone, and fines apply.
