A letter from the Tax Agency asking for documents or information
A requerimiento is a notification from the Agencia Tributaria that asks for data, reports, background records or supporting documents with tax relevance. The Tax Agency’s pages describe how to answer it online with the notification’s CSV code.
- Why it matters
- A requerimiento can reach anyone with a Spanish tax ID, including newcomers who file or are listed in Spanish tax records. It reaches you through the same channels as other official notifications, so it can be missed if you do not check them.
